First Baptist Church of Hope

First Baptist Church of Hope participates in several outreach activities throughout the year.

Here are some of the opportunities to get connected and serve in our community:
Trunk - or - Treat
Looking for a safe place to take your kids this Halloween? Come to our parking lot where your kids can go from car to car collecting candy and other treats that our church members have loaded their trunks with.  We also serve hot dogs & popcorn too! Held during normal trick - or - treat hours.
Block Party / Hog Roast
Held on the Hope town square during the late summer. The Block Party is open to the entire community and includes a hog roast and pitch in dinner provided at no cost. Live entertainment is scheduled to round out the afternoon event. Kids activities such as inflatable bounce houses are available too.
Thanksgiving Dinner
Each November the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church of Hope is opened up to the entire community for Thanksgiving dinner.  Dinner is free and all are welcome.
Every year before the beginning of school, kids can sign up for Cuts-n-Soles, where they can get a free haircut and a voucher for a new pair of shoes just in time for the new school year.
5th Quarter
After every home basketball game, the Family Life Center is transformed into a place where high school kids can come and hang out in a safe place with their friends. While they are here they can play basketball, video games, air hockey or just have some snacks and listen to music. Open to high school aged kids only.
